PA Health Advocates

Positioning a health insurance advocate as the expert people trust

Project Snapshot

Josh Brooker, an independent health insurance agent and founder of PA Health Advocates, knew the industry was full of confusing policies and jargon. With the upcoming launch of his new tool, Snaphealth, designed to simplify health insurance choices for insurance teams, Josh needed to position himself as a trusted voice in the field while driving awareness for this consumer focused solution.

Discovery Rooted in Story

Through our brand strategy process, we uncovered two clear needs: first, to build Josh’s credibility as the approachable expert behind PA Health Advocates, and second, to clarify the value of a tool like SnapHealth in a crowded market. We wove Josh’s personal story sparked by a frustrating billing error after his child’s birth into his brand narrative to make his work relatable and human. Our research showed that both consumers and fellow professionals wanted simple, jargon free insights which shaped the direction of our messaging.

Building a Brand That Educates and Engages

I led the development of a professional brand strategy that positioned Josh as a thought leader in the health insurance space. We built a LinkedIn strategy full of plainspoken posts that broke down complex state and federal policies, alongside a newsletter campaign and blog series that educated and invited conversation. All content pointed back to PA Health Advocates helping drive traffic, generate leads, and build Josh’s reputation as a go to guide in the insurance world.

The Impact

Within months, Josh saw a measurable boost in his visibility:

  • LinkedIn engagement and followers steadily increased, opening up new conversations with consumers and industry peers.

  • Blog posts and newsletters drove inbound leads and website traffic to PA Health Advocates.

  • His audience saw him as an approachable advocate helping people navigate coverage choices and healthcare policy changes with clarity.

Closing Thought

When your brand reflects your story and speaks your audience’s language, trust and growth follow naturally.
